Tron Night

I attended Tron Night this fine evening. I snagged some cool mini posters and schwag, but the highlight was 23 minutes of Tron Legacy.

Seriously, if there is a sequel I have been awaiting all my life, Tron Legacy is it. Anyone who knows me knows that G.I. Joe is a passion of mine; however, I don't give a rat's ass if G.I. Joe gets a sequel. If they announced tomorrow that Tron Legacy has been shitcanned and will never see the light of day, I would cry. I would cry like a little bitch.

I LOVE Tron. I love the story, and the actors, and the way that the computer world still looks good almost 30 years later.

The footage I saw tonight was amazing. If you're a Tron fan, I can't see how the footage could be disappointing. One of the hardcore Tron fanboys seemed to be complaining a bit to a theater employee afterwords. I wanted to smack him right on the face. Just shut the fuck up and wait till you see the entire film. I have NEVER paid to see a midnight showing of a new film, but I WILL see seeing this 12:01 a.m. on December 17th.

Not only was the footage fantastic, but the score sounds fantastic as well. I don't purchase music much anymore, but this score is a must. I believe it comes out on Dec. 7th.

Go see this film and make it a hit.

End of line.
